I ran this Jaguar XF for a week. It had the 3 litre V6 supercharged engine with 340bhp.
It's a damn fine car. I tried hard to find shortcomings but, aside from a slightly lazy gearbox, struggled.

Essentially the Jaguar XF is a smooth drive, but it can also be an involving drive if that takes your fancy. The chassis can handle abuse but it can also take the stress out of long, repetitive journeys. The V6 engine is so smooth and has so much power I never found it wanting - or found myself wanting the 5 litre supercharged V8.

Props to JLR for sticking with supercharging rather than jumping the turbo everything bandwagon.

Absolutely. They lose a few mpg compared to turbo models but the benefits outweigh the downsides
